It all started when…
I earned a bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in Advertising at the Centro Universitario de Brasilia (University Center of Brasilia) and a master’s degree in Graphic Design at the Istituto Europeo di Design (European Institute of Design). During this time, I gained a lot of experience while working with some advertising agencies in Brazil. Following my graduation, I moved to the USA and became employed at Office Max where for 6 months I could learn more about the language, the business, and the local culture. Looking for an opportunity to get a foot in the door, I joined the JTV call center where I spent 2 months as a sales agent.
Soon thereafter, I was given an opportunity to transfer to the E-commerce department where I collaborated with the web design team to create email marketing, promotional assets, web page layouts, photography, art direction, and many other projects. Then, I got the opportunity to work for Kroger as a UX Designer, but shortly went back to JTV as a Senior Art Director to improve key marketing processes on photo, video, and design.
